The beach access was really convenient. The old carpet in our room needed replacing. Multiple pools, including a lazy river and ping-pong area, kept the kids entertained. Missing pool towels was a bit frustrating.

The location is super close to the beach, which is fantastic. Breakfast choices were limited and not very appetizing. Rooms were clean, but the air conditioning was very loud.

The room had a cozy setup, with super comfy pillows and a plush bed that made for restful nights. Curtains blocked out the light effectively, providing a dark space for sleep. the bathroom felt cramped, and the shower light flickered frequently. We experienced cleanliness issues; the sheets were torn, and I found hair on the pillows. The room had an older feel, but the view was lovely. I appreciated the fresh towels and room upkeep, even though the shower leaked and there was some maintenance work nearby. A warmer blanket would have enhanced comfort.

I was really disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. The sheets were stained, and it took us a day to notice. Plus, the bathrooms in the common areas were filthy, and I encountered dirty floors everywhere—definitely not worth the price.

The theme park was a blast with rides for all ages we all loved the arcade too everything was easy to access and the staff were helpful and friendly

The staff were incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home! I loved the oceanview from our spacious room with a handy kitchenette. The beach access was a dream, and we spent hours enjoying the hot tubs and pools.

Our room at Dayton House was cozy and comfortable, but there were a few things that could have been better. The air conditioning worked great, keeping us cool on those hot summer days. the heating seemed a bit inconsistent, leaving us unsure how warm the room would be at times. I appreciated the flat-screen TV in the room, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The housekeeping staff did a good job overall, but there were a few spots that seemed to have been overlooked. The bathroom was well stocked with free toiletries, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, we found the garden furniture to be a bit outdated and not very comfortable to sit on. The lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room was a bit disappointing, as we enjoy having a hot beverage in the mornings. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but when we did, they were friendly and helpful. The availability of shops and commercial services on-site was convenient for picking up any essentials we may have forgotten.

Just a short walk across N Ocean Blvd leads you directly to the beach, while numerous restaurants and attractions are all within a few steps to half a mile, including the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and popular spots like Ripley's Believe It or Not and Broadway at the Beach, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area; the hotel offered decent amenities and clean rooms, but there were signs of age in the building that could use some refreshing.

Great location with stunning beach access and beautiful sunrise views. The room was spacious with two queen beds, plus a relaxing lazy river. Staff were friendly, and the complimentary breakfast had a nice waffle station. housekeeping fell short—towels and toilet paper often needed to be requested, and the trash wasn’t always taken out. It felt like we were managing our own accommodations instead of enjoying hotel services. Parking was tight, but we lucked out with free metered spots. Despite the flaws, the friendliness and views made it a memorable trip.

Beautiful views. Friendly, helpful staff. Free breakfast was excellent, with a fantastic team that truly cares. The pools were nice, though they could be cleaner and warmer. Parking was ample, which is a significant plus. the building shows age; maintenance is needed. Our room had issues—the shower temperature was inconsistent, and the beds sagged. Limited common space meant options were few when rain struck. Some front desk staff lacked customer service skills, and not everyone shared accurate information. The manager's rudeness during a phone call was disappointingly unprofessional. Nevertheless, I’m willing to return, especially for that breakfast and those wings. With improvements, this could be a top-tier stay.

I got to enjoy a relaxing two, acre tanning lawn with iconic yellow umbrellas and a beautiful oceanfront gazebo. The award, winning Nacho Hippo satisfied my nacho cravings!
I loved finding dirty underwear in the kitchen above the stove , yay for unexpected surprises! .

The property offers handicap parking spaces in parking lots and numerous city-metered spots that are free to park in with a handicap placard visible, which was a pleasant surprise. Additionally, the changing areas for guests to use before enjoying the pools or restaurants, as well as the winery's gift shop, made the resort a one-stop destination for relaxation and entertainment.

My friends and I had a blast catching the top, rated variety show with epic musical numbers and killer costumes! The surf lessons were rad, and the Halloween festivities were lit with trick, or, treating and costume contests!
More late, night party events would've taken our vacay to the next level.

Great location right by the ocean. Enjoyed the beautiful view and easy beach access. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with fresh options every day. Loved having multiple pools and a lazy river for relaxation.
Major issue with check-in, room not ready until late. Unpleasant encounters with rude and unhelpful staff.

we enjoyed being at a beachfront property with multiple pools and a lazy river. the umbrella area was a nice spot to sit and relax. table tennis and cornhole available to play which was a nice way to pass time. the staff were all very helpful and friendly. free breakfast was buffet style-the servers were all very nice. location was great, close to everything- great walk to the Skywheel where shops and restaurants are located.

The hotel is in a great location near the beach, allowing for beautiful sunrises from the balcony. The facilities, including the pools, hot tubs, bar, and kiddie pool, were clean and enjoyable for my toddlers. Having breakfast provided, a gym on-site, and friendly staff added to the overall positive experience.
Housekeeping was inconsistent, as we had to request essentials like towels and toilet paper. Trash wasn't taken out on our last full day, causing inconvenience.

During my stay at this beachfront resort, I was impressed by the beautiful view and close proximity to the ocean. The room, although it could have been better, provided a perfect view of the beach from the balcony. The kitchen was a convenient addition, but some utensils and supplies were not properly cleaned. The hot tub and pool were decent. The staff was friendly and the location was great, offering a nice view of the ocean from various angles.
The cleanliness of the room could have been improved, as there were dirty balcony windows, mold in the bathroom grout lines, and scuff marks on the walls. Additionally, the towel rack was broken.

the unit was very clean and right near the beach. it's fairly close to the boardwalk - which is way more fun after dark and has plenty of things to offer for kids/teens/adults. the staff is awesome and made check-in smooth and fast.
